Seeking Religious Literacy is an essential good in the world today.

The course is created by The Center for Ecumenical and Interreligious Engagement at Seattle University with the Parliament of the World's Religions.  It is a self-paced journey to increase awareness of the human quest for meaning across religious worldviews around the world.

In five modules, learners will engage with lectures, podcasts, and first-hand accounts from individuals around the world, as they explore the landscape of religion and spirituality, developing their own religious literacy. Learners are encouraged to utilize the discussion forum to engage with others on the journey.

The course's colorful design covers the arc of a 24-hour-period, from twilight to twilight, and concludes with leave-taking ritual.

This course designed for group use. Facilitators will find everything they need to lead a group through this course in the format of their choosing.  A Facilitator Forum is available for conversation, idea sharing, and mutual support.  Groups will have access to the material for 1 year from registration.  If you have questions please contact CEIE Assistant Director, Rev. Dr. Kara Markell at markellk@seattleu.edu.
